Cultural Embassies

Since 1986, one of the most outstanding activities of Moros d’Alquería has been to promote the ancient past of the Castellon and Mediterranean peoples through different international trips to different parts of the world. In most of the cases, it has been by it parading in fairs and festivals of all kinds, showing the splendor of the ancestral Arab culture in a very visual spectacle and in which music is also protagonist. In addition, Moros d’Alquería has also participated in forums for reflection on the world of festivals and festivities, such as the Congress on the Thought of Holguín (Cuba), in which members of Moros offered four presentations on the Magdalena Festivities.

The good reception that Moros d’Alqueria have had in the different cultural trips is reflected in the high number of cities that the association visited since 1986. In these more than 30 years, the ‘filaes moras’ of the group have paraded through more than 30 cities of 11 different countries: Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Romania, China, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Cuba and the Dominican Republic .
